Ribbing Yarns

Ribbing Yarns is a technique book that explores the potential of the ribber attachment for Japanese machines. Using clear photos and diagrams, the book shows you how to set up your machine for the many interesting and unusual fabrics that can be knitted with the ribber attachment.

A small number of punchcard templates are given which produce a variety of unusual fabrics. Use these fabrics to knit entire garments–not just ribs.

4 garment patterns using these fabrics are included as a starting point.   The book incorporates a number of ribbed edgings that are very effective and quick to knit.

The book is suitable for all Japanese machines with a ribber, from fine gauge to chunky.   50 pages.
